As the J.C. Newman 125th Anniversary approaches, and our old museum has been cleared out to make way for a new visitor experience, Eric Newman has taken some time to discuss a series of historical artifacts in a series of videos called “The Shadow Box Series.”

Throughout 20 short videos, Eric recants stories, and details from the life of the Newman family. From the start of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company in the barn behind the family house, to the Great Depression, through World War II, the Cigar Boom, and the challenges the cigar industry faces today against the FDA, the Newman’s have seen it all.

Take a walk back through time as we show you pieces from the time capsul that is our 110 year old factory, as Eric Newman narrates!
