Stanford J. Newman had an eye for quality and curiosity about how things could be made better. He loved cigars, understood tobacco, and dedicated his 70-year career to making the finest cigars in the world. He believed in being first, whether that meant trying a new idea or challenging the way something had always been done. A visionary in the cigar world, Stanford was an inaugural member of the Cigar Aficionado Cigar Hall of Fame.

Stanford loved spending time with family and was always ready to share a good cigar.
