Elaine’s is a classic American restaurant.   Opening soon in Tampa’s Ybor City, Elaine’s will serve familiar food made with care in a fully restored historic 1910 building. The menu will draw from great brasseries, with Gulf seafood, prime steaks, sandwiches, salads and classic dishes with touches of Tampa throughout.

Inspired by Elaine Newman’s love of French cooking and time in Paris, it is a restaurant where friends and neighbors will come together to enjoy a good meal. Whether you live around the corner, come from across Tampa, or are visiting El Reloj for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you.

ABOUT ELAINE

Elaine Newman was confident, independent, and never afraid to speak her mind. She knew what she liked, had a sense of style that was entirely her own, and was happiest when surrounded by her friends and family. She loved a full social calendar as much as she loved a full table. Elaine studied cooking in Paris, worked in fashion public relations, and loved bringing people together over a good meal. She cared deeply for the those around her and paid attention to the details that made them feel cared for.
