HELP US CELEBRATE 125 YEARS

J.C. Newman Celebrates 125 Years – You Can Too!

124 years ago, Julius Caeser Newman, an immigrant from Hungary, began rolling cigars on a makeshift rolling table in the family barn. That order of 500 cigars was the humble beginning for what is now known as the J.C. Newman Cigar Company.

Now, J.C.’s grandsons Eric and Bobby Newman, and great-grandson Drew Newman, are keeping the family legacy alive.

To celebrate 125 years of quality cigar making, we are opening up our factory in historic Cigar City, in Tampa, Florida, in 2020. This factory will feature a museum, a retail shop, and experiences such as rolling cigars, and behind the scenes tours. We will also be showcasing new cigars, such as The Yagua and The American.

To thank you all for helping us thrive for these last 125 years, we are hosting a giveaway. This brand new, J.C. Newman Anniversary end-table  humidor. With a pull out drawer, humidification system built in, and a shelf for organizing all your cigars, this piece is ONE-OF-A-KIND. Follow the instructions below, for chance at winning and remember to check back on our website and social media all year long for updates about our anniversary celebrations.
